Associate Digital Transformation
Job Description & Summary
Have you (almost) finished your university degree in a business or IT direction? Are you eager to make your fresh ideas known within a large international organization where you will be given many opportunities to develop yourself professionally and personally? PwC offers you a unique opportunity to start as a Digital Transformation consultant. Are you ready to give your career a flying start?
In our digital transformation team we work on complex transformation projects, where the impact of new laws and regulations (e.g. CSRD, ESEF), reporting requirements and changes in the IT landscape play a crucial role. We work closely with our clients to make optimal use of technology during these complex processes (e.g. during an IPO, merger or acquisition), stimulate innovation and help them transform to a future-proof and agile business model.
What will your work involve?
As an Associate Digital Transformation, you will mostly operate in multidisciplinary teams (including deals & technical accounting experts, ERP & technology specialists, software developers and data analysts) to successfully execute challenging digital transformation projects. Your role for a particular project will be the one best suited to the specific transformation project: from strategic reorientation, to choosing technology, to actual implementation and process optimisation.
Your work environment is dynamic; it ranges from working at a client's offices or at the PwC office to the flexibility of working from home. To meet the needs of our customers, we continuously invest globally in the development of our team members, our skills and the innovative tools that we use to help our clients transform sustainably and stay ahead of the competition. This leads to many opportunities to develop yourself into a “trusted boardroom advisor”.
If you start in this role, this also means that we have a place for you in our One Assurance Academy. This is PWC's internal academy to give ambitious starters like you a flying start. This academy offers you the unique opportunity to further develop your soft and hard skills together with a group of starting colleagues from different specialisms and backgrounds, because at PwC we believe that together you come to the best solutions.
As an Associate Digital Transformation the activities that you will be working on include:
- Developing and shaping digital and IT strategies and solutions along with the associated road maps for the client, which are necessary for the success of the digital transformation (e.g. during an IPO or major transformation).
- Working out business requirements (functional and non-functional) in a multidisciplinary team to optimise the organisation, processes, systems and reporting.
- Advising clients on how to optimise their financial reporting processes and comply with relevant legislation.
- Identifying operational and financial risks and implementing and/or automating controls.
At PwC, you will be part of a dynamic, international and multidisciplinary team of experts. Along with your colleagues, you will excel in our clients’ environments. You will also help to optimise our knowledge, methodologies and tools.
Does this describe you?
You are eager to learn and want to expand your knowledge in the field of emerging technologies (including (GenAI, Cloud & RPA) and (financial) business processes. You are also ambitious and want to solve complex issues and make an impact with our customers. You are people-oriented and enjoy working together in multidisciplinary teams.
- You have a university degree in a subject such as technical or non-technical business administration, financial management, information management or similar.
- Or you are following a master's degree in business economics, financial management, finance & accounting, but have an affinity with IT, digitalization and information management
- You are motivated to advise clients on how to optimise their IT operations, financial & operational processes, associated systems & controls.
- You have an understanding of emerging technologies, such as AI, Cloud, RPA and are open to further explore innovative solutions from our alliance partners (including Workiva, SAP, Workday, Microsoft).
- You are open to further expanding your knowledge of financial reporting rules (for example by following training courses or an education)
- You are able to draw up powerful reports and give convincing presentations to senior management.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
What are we offering?
At PwC, you will have the opportunity to be yourself, get the best out of yourself in a high-performance organisation and grow within our global network. As part of our team we offer:
- A competitive salary, permanent contract, attractive pension plan and the opportunity to grow rapidly;
