Data Analyst - Data Competence Center

How you will make a difference

You will help us to ‘change finance to finance change’, by playing a central role in the Data Competence Center, an eager and dynamic team wanting to make an impact at Triodos Investment Management.

This team is responsible for the delivery of new, exciting data products (BI) related to impact and investment management. By investing in companies with our funds, Triodos Investment Management wants to change finance to have a positive impact on society.

The team is responsible for a broad range of activities related to data where close collaboration and communication with the business is an important part of the daily work:

• On the information side this involves understanding and specifying impact and investment management requirements, translating these to specifications for the engineers, data modelling, building BI dashboards (currently in Qlik Sense) and ensuring a smooth release to production by testing the products closely with the business, which are mostly investment professionals.
• On the data side this involves improving the overall maturity of Triodos Investment Management on data governance. In the coming years, the Data Competence Center has a leading role in the implementation of several projects related to data governance.
• In this role you can expect a demanding environment with a high variety of topics and lots of opportunities to learn. Data is at the heart of Triodos Investment Management and in the coming years it will become the backbone of the organisation. The Data Competence Center plays a central role in realizing this.

• You possess good communication skills.

Furthermore, it is desirable that you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (i.e., Finance, Business Administration, IT, Data Science) or equivalent certification
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence and Data Analysis (e.g. SQL, Qlik Sense, Power BI)
• Fluency in English
• Residency in the Netherlands
