As a Senior Data Management Consultant, you will leverage your extensive data management, AI and banking experience to advance our data management ambitions. High-quality, accessible data is crucial for Rabobank to achieve its strategic goals. Whether it's supporting a rock-solid bank, enhancing commercial processes, or driving digitization trends, your role is vital. You will communicate effectively at all levels within the organization (strategic, tactical, operational) and translate complex data needs into practical solutions and advice for stakeholders and our team.
Responsibilities
- Advising senior management on data management vision, strategic objectives, and results.
- Collaborating with Tribes and Chapters across the organization to implement our data management standard and procedures (e.g., data governance, data quality monitoring, aligning data definitions). You are the authority on our data management practices.
- Assisting Rabobank in executing the Managing Board's strategic priority on Data Management by ensuring business-critical reports and models comply with our data management standards and procedures.
- Providing guidance and inspiration to improve data management awareness and maturity throughout the Rabobank enterprise.
- Leading the implementation of new data acts and regulations (including change management and adherence).
- Developing a data management vision and strategy based on emerging technologies like AI, but also in extending our approach to managing unstructured data.

The Chapter Data & Analytics sets the direction for our data-driven enterprise.
You and Your Talent
- 5+ years of proven experience as an data management & AI professional, preferably in the financial services sector.
- 5+ years of outstanding advisory skills proven in a financial and/or consulting environment.
- Experience in regulatory environments, knowledge of BCBS#239 and regulatory adherence from a data management perspective.
- Change is in your DNA. You understand and excel in driving change and results within a heavily regulated environment.
- You possess academic-level working and thinking skills and are structured in your approach.
- You can inspire, motivate, and coach in both Dutch and English (fluent proficiency, minimally C2).
- You have demonstrable experience working in complex banking environments, speaking the language of various stakeholders, and inspiring them to take responsibility.
This is what we offer you
- Gross monthly salary between EUR 6,475 and EUR 9,250 (scale 11) for a 36 hour week
- Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
- 10% Employee Benefit Budget
- EUR 1,400 development budget per year
- Hybrid working: balance between home and office work (possible for most roles)
- A pension, for which you can set the maximum amount of your personal contribution
